If you've already seen the new campaign, you've surely recognized the beloved spokesperson for the longstanding brand: Shirley Bouganim (the beauty), aged 49, with the perfect smile, returning to Daniella Lehavi in a new season.
The enduring romance between Bouganim and Daniella Lehavi began in 2020 with the first campaign captured by Dudi Hasson. From customer feedback for the brand, it was clear that their shared journey was only just beginning, promising a long and photogenic voyage ahead.
Shirley Bouganim, born on September 13, 1973, is an Israeli actress and model. She gained recognition in Israel at the age of 17 through television commercials and starred in various fashion campaigns.
Shirley perfectly represents the brand's values: conscious maturity, timeless Israeli beauty, and qualities reserved for inspiring Hollywood stars.
This is actually the first drop launch of the season, kicking off the new collection with a hefty dose of classic style.
The shape of the "Miami" bag featured in the campaign is based on the "Bali" model, an all-time bestseller and one of the brand's iconic designs in recent years. The campaign, starring Shirley, was shot in a clean and aesthetic style.
We've upgraded the classic Bali with a triple-flap closure that gives the model a messenger twist, adding a sporty touch and providing an important functional enhancement—making the bag completely sealed and particularly suitable for everyday use as well as travel.
Another refreshing addition to the model is the crochet strap, a technique introduced two years ago and since then has received several design interpretations by the brand. This time, the crochet is paired with sheepskin leather, one of the brand's most identifiable materials that has become a leading element in various collections over the years, primarily due to its polished, textured, and edgy appearance it imparts to the bags.
The sheepskin leather is a luxurious and exceptionally high-quality material produced in Italy by the Neapolitan Borasca family, now in its third generation of craftsmanship. Daniella Lehavi began collaborating with this factory 30 years ago, and since then, their partnership has strengthened, guided by Daniella's son, Ori Lehavi. The factory specializes in vegetable tanning (without chemical substances) and preserving the natural characteristics of the material, much like good denim or fine wine, which improves with time.
It's always pleasant to look back at previous campaigns and admire the timeless beauty of our bags and of Shirley.
